Our College is an integrated body of Prantij Taluka Education Society, which is one of the leading educational Institutions of North Gujarat, in Western India. Our college is a Teacher Education Institution. The Prantij Taluka Education Society was established in 1972 AD, having some prime aims and objectives for providing education to the students of different communities who come from remote, rural, semi-rural, tribal belt of North Gujarat.

At beginning the Institution emerged as a primary school in 1972 and then gradually it was upgraded as the secondary school in 1974 and higher secondary school in1983 and after a period of three decades in 2002 AD as per needs of the local community, Prantij Taluka Education Society established B.Ed. College entitled "Experimental College of Education" and recently in 2005 AD an another Teacher Education college was also introduced entitled "C.K. Patel College of Primary Teacher Education (PTC)" which is a progressive step in the field of teacher education.

Motto

The motto or philosophy of the college is which means the whole world is one family. In this context our motto is to provide educational opportunities to the deprived social section of this zone. This is done not only by giving preferential treatment to the students in admission to the college under the rules but by helping this section of students both academic and psychological.

We have committed to give special attention to the rural poor tribal and minority section of society. overall main objective of this college is "To maintain Education Standard and to enhance quality of education in respect of all round development of the learners keeping in view the goals of social justice and inculcate democratic, secular, moral, social, peace, brotherhood, national and international, understanding.

We may characterized our motto of education in the direction of Dollar's Commission - that is four pillars of education as such this is mentioned in our Upnisadic literature.

Vision

At present, we are running Schools, B.Ed. and P.T.C. College and our prime goal is to introduce some advanced courses like M.Ed., M.phil., etc. aiming to shape our Institution in the direction of Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary approach as far as the teacher education purpose. We may claim that we have our own independent identity to build it as the comprehensive college of Teacher Education, comprising the educational system of our past (cultural heritage) along with the emerging new trends of globalization of the present Indian society.
